How to make a karaoke from a music CD?
First, you must convert your songs to the MP3 format. To do this, you can use a program like AltoMP3 at https://www.mp3-cdburner.com/AltoMP3-Maker.shtml. Then save the converted files in the same folder that you've defined in the config of the DEL MP3 Karaoke program.
After saving, you can edit the files using the editor (see our manual section) of the DMK program adding lyrics, witch could found on the web; just (see our links section).

What is KARAOKE?
The word Karaoke comes from the Japanese; where "kara" means empty and "oke" orchestration.
In fact, it is a new type of entertainment which allows everyone to sing on their favorite musics without even knowing the lyrics.
The principle is to display the words of the song (syllable by syllable) on your computer screen or the TV, synchronized with music.

Download problems?
There are several possibilities.

1- Recently we've implemented a download script on our website to control downloads. If a visitor wants to download one of our file coming from another website, say "my personal home page" our script will block the download. Why you say? Simply to get people to see the information on our website regarding the software like: system requirements, licence agreement …So if you tried a download from or coming from another website, you'll be denied access.
2-Caching could be the culprit also: For example, if your original download got munged, and your successive downloads all referenced a bad cached copy instead of the actual, original file, they'd all fail. The cache could be on your end: either the cache built into your browser, or in add-on software (many "download accelerators" employ some form of caching to create the illusion of greater throughput). But some ISPs also use caches for greater speed. If your ISP's cached copy of the file was bad, your subsequent download attempts may have repeatedly accessed that bad cached copy instead of the actual original file, resulting in what seemed to be a series of bad downloads. There's nothing much you can do about a cache on your ISP's end. But if there are repeated problems, it might be worth checking out a different ISP.
3-With dial-up connections, it's not uncommon for a bit to be "dropped" (lost in transmission) from time to time, especially if your phone line isn't great. Zip files have very few extraneous bits, so loss of even one can render the entire Zip file invalid and unable to be decompressed.
4-Try clearing your browser's cache*: In Internet Explorer, click Tools/Internet Options, and on the General tab, click on Delete Files in the "Temporary Internet Files" section. In Netscape, click Edit/Preferences/Advanced/Cache, then click both "Clear Cache" buttons. Other browsers have similar settings. When you're done, close and restart the browser and see if that helps.

Likewise, if you're using any kind of extra cache in a download accelerator, explore that software's settings for ways to clear out old files.

Can DMK karaoke be played on DVD using a CD?
Your question is easily answered by choosing the AVI format:
First you will use DEL MP3 Karaoke to make and play your karaoke song.
If you want to record the lyrics showing in the karaoke window and the music (sound), you could use a window capture utility software such as Techsmith's SnagIt or Camtasia, both found at https://www.techsmith.com.
They offer video with sound capture with AVI output format (movie).
Configure the window capture utility (i.e.SnagIt), start your song in DEL MP3 Karaoke, and record image & sound.
Then you just have to burn your resulting AVI files, and play them on your DVD*.
Another option would be to convert the resulting AVI to the VCD or DVD format.

How to obtain registration keys upgrade?

When I try to run DMK, from a program shortcut on the desktop or in the star menu, I get an error message which says "You do not have an appropriate license to use this functionality". Does this mean that I have to buy the program before I can try it?
Absolutely not. DMK is distributed as shareware, and you are encouraged to try it fully before registering. This error message is not coming from DMK directly. It seems that this error is being produced by Sheridan Software’s Tabbed Dialog control, a control (.ocx) used by DMK and other programs. Sheridan has acknowledged that at least some versions of the control will produce the error in question, and while it is still unclear if a true "fix" exists, the following procedure should take care of the problem for now: To correct this problem you need to uninstall DEL MP3 Karaoke (via the Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel) and then go to your Windows\System directory with windows explorer and look for the file Tabctl32.ocx. When you find it, rename it and/or move in to a different location (do not delete it, just in case). Then reinstall DMK. This will place the original version of the tab control that shipped with DMK in the System directory, and should register it and solve the problem. Meanwhile, if necessary, you can always reverse the procedure with the Tabctl32.ocx file renaming or moving it back to Windows\System.

Where can I download songs, I am not very good using internet?
Our website is a commercial one, and it’s forbidden to download songs without paying copyright. It’s impossible for us to give MP3 files, Midi or any other format of music files. On the other hand, here are some small advices to help you in your queries. Does DEL MP3 Karaoke shareware version have special limitations?

DMK is completly free and fully fonctionnal in its shareware version (not registered). Small reminders to buy a DMK's license, to support creation, are the unregistered version limitations. If you like and use DMK, please register (buy a license).
